On Saturday Sonic Youth played the final concert at the McCarren Park Pool in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, before renovations are expected to begin to return it to swimmers. The pool has earned a reputation as the ultimate boho Brooklyn scene, drawing tens of thousands of people for weekly concerts, movies and other performances each summer.
